测光系统: TTL maximum aperture metering with a 35-zone silicon photocell. There are three metering modes:

Evaluative metering

Partial metering (approx. 9.5% of viewfinder at centre)

Centre-weighted average (set automatically in M mode)

Metering is activated when the shutter button is partially depressed, and continues for 4 seconds after the shutter button is released.

Incorrect exposure is indicated on the external LCD and in the viewfinder.

External LCD displays the film speed during prewinding

曝光补偿:

Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB); bracketing amount of +/- 2 stops in 1/2 stop increments; bracketing sequence is correct, under and over. AEB cannot be set in Full Program and Program Image Control modes.

Manual setting up to +/- 2 stops in 0.5 stop increments (only available in Creative Zone modes)

曝光锁: enabled with the AE Lock button (camera automatically switches to partial metering mode). Settable only in Creative Zone modes. AF Lock sets AE Lock automatically.

多重曝光: Maximum 9 multiple exposures. Cancels automatically after all multiple exposures are taken. (Cancellable and resettable at any time.) Settable only in Creative Zone modes.

自动对焦: TTL-SIR (through-the-lens secondary image registration). CMOS sensor with seven focus points.

AF 工作范围: EV 1-18 (at ISO 100)

对焦模式: one of the following two modes is set automatically (not user-selectable) to suit the picture-taking mode.

One-Shot AF: autofocus stops when focus is achieved; AF lock enabled; shutter releases only when focus is achieved

AI Servo AF (switches automatically between One-shot AF and Predictive AF). For still subjects: when focus is achieved, AF operation stops and focus is locked. For moving subjects: AF continuously tracks subject movement.

Manual focusing: enabled with the focusing ring when the lens focus mode switch is set to MF (or M). The seven focus points serve as a focusing aid.

In Program AE, shutter speed priority AE, aperture priority AE and manual modes, the focusing point selection mode can be set to automatic or manual selection. In other picture-taking modes, the automatic focusing point selection mode is set automatically.

对焦点指示: the selected focusing point is displayed on the external LCD and in the viewfinder LCD.

合焦指示: provided on external LCD panel and viewfinder LCD and by a beeper (beeper can be disabled in all picture-taking modes).

AF 辅助灯: intermittent flashes from the built-in flash; fires automatically when requiredif the built-in flash head is popped up.

快门: Vertical-travel, focal-plane shutter with all speeds electronically-controlled

快门速度: 30 seconds to 1/2000 second in 1/2-stops; X-sync at 1/90 second; bulb. Intermediate shutter speeds (half stops) can be set in shutter speed priority AE and Manual modes.

快门释放: soft-touch electromagnetic release. 2.5mm mini-jack terminal provided for Remote Switch RS-60E3

自拍: electronically-controlled with 10 second or 2 second delay; operation indicated by electronic beeper (at 2Hz, then at 8Hz for the final two seconds) and blinking red-eye reduction lamp (countdown also shown on external LCD); self-timer countdown on LCD panel; useable in all shooting modes; self-timer cancellable by turning Command Dial to L

手震警告: provided for Full Auto and Program Image Control modes (if the shutter speed is slower than the reciprocal of the lens focal length by 0.5 steps or more, the shutter speed display blinks)

装胶卷: prewind system; automatic take-up with fixed spool. Prewind time: 9 seconds for 24-exposures.
